MHT CET or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is a state-level examination conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. The exam facilities admission to various degree courses such as Engineering, Pharma, and Agriculture.<\/p>\n

The MHT CET<\/a> grants admission to different engineering programs across the state. It is mostly conducted in MAY. The application for the exam starts in December. However, the level of the exam is moderate. It is a tough exam but not the toughest one.<\/p>\n

Eligibility<\/h2>\n

The candidate must be intermediated passed or it is equivalent while giving the exam. Though the 12th appearing students can also take part in the exam. <\/p>\n

Exam Pattern <\/h2>\n

The paper consists of three papers with multiple choice questions. Each paper will be 90 minutes duration. The subjects included in the exam are Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The candidates applying for engineering are required to appear for Maths, Physics, and chemistry. Whereas the candidates applying for Pharma are required to appear for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. <\/p>\n

However, 80% syllabus comes from the 12th syllabus and 20% from the 11th syllabus. Each paper carries 100 marks and there is no negative marking. But the difficulty level of the exam is the same as the JEE and NEET.<\/p>\n

MHT CET Cut Off marks<\/h2>\n

After the exam, the cut-off list is issued by the DTE (Directorate of Technical Education) for each Centralised Allotment Process round. The cut-off list is made category-wise and institute-wise separately for Maharashtra and all India candidates. Based on the cut-off list admission is done to the various colleges across the state of Maharashtra.<\/p>\n
