JEE Main 2026 registration will commence from November 2025 on the NTA’s official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The NTA has started the demo application link from October 7, 2025, to help the candidates understand the application process and know the guidelines to fill out the JEE application form at demo.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main application process consists of registration, form filling, document submission and fee payment. JEE Main 2026: Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must understand the JEE Main 2026 eligibility criteria before applying for the exam:

1. Passing Year: Candidates who have completed class 12th in 2024, 2025, or are taking the board exam in 2026 are eligible to apply for the JEE Main 2026 exam.
2. There is no age limit on the JEE Main application form.
3. Percentage: Any candidate can fill out the JEE Main 2026 application form because the 75% criterion does not apply to the JEE Main exam, only the JEE Advanced exam.
4. The candidate must have passed the intermediate or 10+2 exam in the core courses such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for all programs (B.Tech., B.E., B.Planning, and B.Arch.). 
5. The application is available for all Indian nationals, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, or foreign nationals.

How to Apply for JEE Main 2026 Exam

The detailed application process of the JEE Main 2026  is as follows:

1. Official Website: Visit the official website of NTA’s JEE at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
2. Registration: Look at the “New Registration” tab and read the instructions carefully to fill out the details, such as

• Candidate’s Name
• Date of Birth
• Mobile Numbers
• Email ID
• Security pin

Note the application number generated for future reference.

3. Application Form: Login with your Application Number and Password. Fill out the detailed application form with the required information carefully, as some sections in the application are non-editable. Choose the exam city, language and session enrolling in carefully.
4. Document Upload: Keep a scanned copy of the required documents and upload them in the prescribed format and size.
5. Fee Payment: Pay the online fee according to your category.
6. Confirmation: Review all the details of the application form and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

• Please ensure that the uploaded photograph is clear, bright, and not blurry, as unclear images may lead to application rejection.
• Save your photo as ‘Photograph’ in JPG/JPEG format, and your signature as ‘Signature’ in JPG/JPEG format. Passport-size photograph (10kb- 200kb) and Signature (4 kb- 30 kb).
• Upload a scanned copy of your Class X certificate/marksheet, named ‘Class-X Certificate’, in PDF format (file size between 10–300 KB).
• Similarly, applicants with disabilities must upload their ‘Disability Certificate’ as a PDF file within the same size range.
• Please note that certain details cannot be modified later during the correction window, so review your form carefully before submission.
• Uploading incorrect or invalid documents may attract UFM (Unfair Means) penalties.
• To prevent upload errors, ensure your browser is updated and you have a stable internet connection.

JEE Main 2026: Registration Process Step-by-step

1. First, candidates should go to the NTA’s official website.
2. Click on JEE Main Application Form 2026.
