JEE Advanced 2025: IIT Kanpur will organise JEE Advanced 2025 for the engineering aspirants. The exact date will be announced by the organising committee on the official website of JEE: jeeadv.ac.in. However, the exam will most probably be held in May 2025. The initial sessions of JEE i.e. JEE Mains will be held in two sessions: January 2025 & April 2025. JEE Advanced 2025 Eligibility Criteria

JEE Advanced is considered one of the most challenging entrance exams in the country. To be eligible for the JEE Advanced exam a candidate must fulfill the following criteria:

Performance in JEE Mains 2025

A candidate must be ranked among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E./B.Tech. Paper of JEE (Main) 2025.

Age Limit

Candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1999, for the general category or October 1, 1994, for the SC/ST and PwD category.

Number of Attempts

Candidates can appear for a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.

Nationality

Indian nationals or Persons of Indian origin (POIs) or Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) are eligible for the JEE Advanced examination.

Previous Year’s IIT Admission

Candidates who have not been admitted to IITs previously are eligible for JEE Advanced examination. Those who have earlier been admitted for preparatory courses at IIT are also eligible. Those who have withdrawn their admission before the final round of JoSAA can fill out the JEE advanced application form.
