📘 NEET 2025 syllabus changes – Subject-wise breakdown

To reduce the burden on students, NTA has revised the NEET 2025 syllabus, removing certain topics from Class 11 & 12 NCERT books. This allows aspirants to focus on only the relevant topics for the exam.
But wait, there’s more! NTA has also introduced new topics to the syllabus, meaning you need to adapt your preparation strategy accordingly.
🧬 Biology deleted syllabus NEET 2025

Biology holds a major weightage in the NEET exam, so let’s start with it. As I mentioned earlier, NTA has removed some topics and chapters from the NEET syllabus. These topics are no longer included in the new NCERT books, meaning if you’re using old NCERTs, you can skip them.
Biology topics and chapters deleted from old NCERT: Class 11
- Living World – Taxonomic Aids
- Plant Kingdom – Angiosperms, Life Cycle
- Structural Organization – Earthworm
- Anatomy – Secondary Growth
- Biomolecules – Concept of Metabolism, Living State
- Transport in Plants – ❌ Complete Chapter Removed
- Mineral Nutrition – ❌ Complete Chapter Removed
- Plant Growth & Development – Photoperiodism, Vernalization
- Digestion & Absorption – ❌ Complete Chapter Removed
- Neural Control & Coordination – Reflex Arc & Reflex Action

- Reproduction in Organisms – ❌ Complete Chapter Removed
