You need an original government-issued ID, no photocopies or digital copies.

Admit card with photo

Your NEET admit card must have a passport-size photo stuck on it — the same one you used in your application.

Dress code

Some of you might have doubts regarding dress code. So I thought of putting a separate heading for this. I know the dress code may sound annoying, but it’s there to prevent unfair practices. The last thing you want is to be turned away because of shoes or a fancy sleeve. So here’s a simple breakdown:

For boys

✅ Half-sleeved, light-colored shirt or t-shirt

✅ Simple trousers, formals, or jeans

✅ Slippers or sandals

❌ Full-sleeves, kurta-pyjamas, layering

❌ Shoes and socks

❌ Watches or metallic accessories

For girls

✅ Light salwar/kameez with short sleeves

✅ Simple outfit with no heavy embroidery

✅ Open footwear like slippers or sandals

✅ Full cover top and jeans (but they must be plain, light-colored, and without any patterns or designs)

❌ Full sleeves, designer clothes

❌ Hairpins, brooches, bangles, nose pins

❌ Shoes, heels, or any closed footwear

Note on religious attire

If you wear specific attire for religious reasons (like burqa, turban, etc.), report at least an hour early. Because security will take extra time and you don’t want to be stuck in checks while the exam starts.

Tips for a stress-free exam day

• Sleep early the night before
• Eat a light, balanced breakfast
• Reach at least 30–45 minutes early. Once the gates close, no entry will be allowed under any circumstances.
• Complete all required signatures and photo pasting (on Page 1, Page 3 of the Admit Card) before arriving. Don’t expect to find glue or tape at the center.
• Carry a transparent water bottle for personal use to stay hydrated but avoid excess liquid intake.
• Bring an additional photograph (same as the one used in your application form) – this will be required for the attendance sheet.
• Candidates with disabilities should carry their valid disability certificate.
